Synopsis

Where discussions of Spirituality are concerned there are many patterns of thought.  Some people search for Spirituality by way of religion or mythology and others by way of science-with many varied ways in between.  Some ways have marked distinctions and others do not.  Some are sought in earnest and others are not.

At some point one must recognize that discussions are not enough to make a leap into the great unknown.  While it is interesting and entertaining to ponder and explore existing knowledge, it cannot bring one beyond the threshold of True Reality.  True Knowledge must always come newly from within. 

If a search is done in earnest, it leads the traveler to the doorstep of understanding their own existence- which can be called True Understanding.  Passing through the doorway is the new knowing of that which is unknown.  This Understanding transcends all man-made paths, ways and systems. This is to say that the path and the traveler are irrelevant to the discovery.

The pages here are a moving outline of work for the purpose of inner development toward True Understanding.  Moving in the sense that new work and ideas for work will continually be added.  The aim is to push one further toward Inner Knowing.  Self-knowledge is the key to clearing the way.

To know anything from within, it is imperative to remove all that blocks the way to true seeing.  You will find here an emphasis on seeing Ego, the very entity that blocks one from seeing the True Self. 

The Ego is the source of all obstacles in they way of any path.  It is powerful and it is persistent.  It needs to be seen as it is, with no room for judgments such as empathy or disdain.  You may find some of the work, although simple, to be very difficult to carry out.  It is all geared to bring forth Ego where you can see that it is not you.

You will find the Essays at times to be very direct.  They are written to challenge notions about your nature as it stands.  Be quite aware while reading them of how Ego rejects the points to which it most relates.  Not only designed to extract Ego, at some point you will see that the Essays are also extremely compassionate.
